In the high alpine forests of Arthur’s Pass National Park, New Zealand, my wife heather and I spent the entire day seeking out these Kea Parrots. Although the ones that greeted us at the cafe in town were fun, we wanted desperatley to see them in their home. Towards the end of the day, as it began to rain, we found a lone Kea that was comfortable enough to hang around us for a while.
