It all begins with an idea. For me, that idea was a little orange T-Rex with a bottle-cap for a hat

A New Perspective
Gearing up for another trip to Boston, I had recently taken interest in photography. I wanted to give myself the challenge of finding a new perspective to shoot from. The only thing missing was a subject.
The night before leaving I was finishing up a shift at the deli I worked at. Before leaving I took notice of the squishy toys that had been sitting next to the register for weeks now. Eureka! I quickly nabbed the orange T-Rex to be my focus. However the little guy was missing personality. I quickly named him “Bankston Jr.”. Baseless but catchy. Even after the naming I couldn’t help but feel something was still missing.
Little did I know the answer lay right in front of me on the coffee table of my college house. In the heart of the clutter, a dinosaur sized hat in the form of a UFO bottle-cap.
The rest is history. After that trip to Boston, wherever my camera went, so did Bankston Jr.
Bankston Jr. is now currently enjoying his retirement from the modeling scene.
