Venturing away from the crowds and ice cave tours of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Iceland, my friends and I ventured to the far shores of the water. Away from the boats of tour groups weaving through the icebergs, we lucky enough to find a group of playful harbor seals. We sat on the shore for hours, happy to share the company of this friendly faced creatures. As we were preparing to depart from the lagoon, one of the seals swam closer to shore, looking directly at us to allow us one more photo. The memory of this day will not soon be forgotten.
